Welcome to the 805 Peachtree Condominiums Web Site.
History
A former office building unofficially named after its largest tenant, the Social Security
Administration, 805 Peachtree now stands transformed as a vital residential community.
Standing at the intersection of Peachtree Street and 5th Street, it is a landmark building
of Midtown Atlanta's renaissance and the social trend of New Urbanism. Built in the
mid- 20th Century, this six-story structure was revitalized through the vision of
developers The Cartel Group in the late 1990's.
Architecture
805 Peachtree's architecture is unlike any other residence in Atlanta. An international
combination of Bauhaus and Miami Beach inspired art deco, both the building's exterior
and interior was recreated by Stang & Newdow, one of Atlanta's
most innovative and creative architecture/design firms. A fortress like exterior
yields to a high- energy interior with curved and angled walls and inventive use
of space. Thirty different floor plans in stack architecture account for only one
version per floor. With covered parking access in the back of the building and street
level retail at its front, 805 Peachtree is well in accordance with the guidelines
of the BluePrint Midtown, the Midtown Alliance's master plan
for a pedestrian friendly live, work, play urban neighborhood.
Lifestyle
114 New Urban pioneers call 805 Peachtree home. They live in well-designed lofts ranging
from 990 - 4240 square feet. Open space, high ceilings, exposed concrete beams and
utility pipes are juxtaposed to high-end finishes such as Siematic cabinetry, stainless
steel appliances, Corian or granite countertops and hardwood floors. Walls of windows
or balconies provide various cityscape vistas in all directions. Within the
805 Peachtree, residents utilize 24-hour concierge/security, The 805 City Club
with full catered kitchen and large exercise room, a resort-like pool with cabanas,
covered gated parking, two quest suites, T-1 internet access and digital cable.
805 Peachtree residents live in the center of one of the country's most active
urban commercial and residential real estate markets -- Midtown Atlanta.
They walk to Piedmont Park,
the city's finest restaurants, cafes, bars, clubs, theatres, museums and
MARTA. 805 Peachtree residents watch the transformation of their neighborhood
as commercial complexes such as BellSouth Metro, Millennium in Midtown, The
Federal Reserve Bank near completion. And, with several new urban mixed-use
commercial/retail/residential projects such as Midtown Square, 811 Peachtree
and 933 Peachtree on the boards along with the Atlanta Cabana Hotel and
Juniper Row restaurant district in development, 805 Peachtree owners will
find their investment to appreciate and their new urban lifestyle to expand.
